For organizations

Your neighbors want to help. Give them something to say yes to.

Do A Good turns "we could really use a hand" into a clear ask the right local volunteer can answer. Made for senior centers, food pantries, shelters, churches, and schools.

Starting in King of Prussia

Be one of our first partners

We are inviting a small group of organizations in and around King of Prussia to start with us. You'll help shape how Do A Good works, and we'll set things up with you personally.

Why partner

Less recruiting, more help showing up

  • Ask for exactly what you need

One visit, one ride, one afternoon of packing. Specific asks are the easiest ones for people to say yes to.

  • Reach neighbors who want to help

Your needs go to volunteers nearby who chose that kind of help. No mass emails and no flyers on the corkboard.

  • Background checks where they matter

Mark a need as sensitive and only background-checked volunteers can sign up for it.

  • You decide who sees the details

You confirm each volunteer before an address or personal note is shared. The people you serve never appear in public listings.

How partnering works

From hello to your first volunteer

  1. Tell us about your organization

Use the short form on this page, or just email us.

  2. Have a conversation

We learn how you serve, verify your organization, and set up your account.

  3. Post your first need

We help you write it, and neighbors nearby start to see it.

Let's talk

Questions we hear

What does it cost?
We are working out plans together with our first partners in King of Prussia, and we'll be upfront about pricing before you commit to anything. People receiving help never pay.
How do background checks work?
Needs you mark as sensitive are only open to background-checked volunteers. If your organization already requires its own clearances, such as Pennsylvania clearances for work with children, we'll talk through how to keep those in place.
Can we post needs on behalf of the people we serve?
Yes, that's how it works. Individuals never post their own requests. You post on their behalf, share only what a volunteer needs to know, and decide who gets the details.
We are not in King of Prussia. Can we still join?
We are starting in King of Prussia and growing one town at a time. Please reach out anyway. Hearing from organizations is how we decide where to go next.

We will use this only to follow up about partnering. See our privacy policy.
